Buzz Buzz. He's the reason Ness goes out on an adventure in the first place. But what is he? Where is he from? And finally, why is he doing this in the first place!?
Now first off, I'll lay out what we do know about the "Dung Beetle." A Bee he is...not, he's from the future, and he was a Flying Man. Well, I was hoping for some more, but oh well. The most obvious question is why he was chosen to tell Ness the AoE's prophecies. From the way he spoke, he could have been a leader of one of the countries destroyed by Giygas, from the way he talked about fighting batttles with Starmen. he could have been a rebellion leader, and from his power, even after being transformed into a bee, he could have been a spirit-type creature who protected the Flying Men.
Another thing involves Time Travel Paradoxes. A word of warning, if you dislike evil things that never end and never have a real answer, go away. Read one of Ultimoo's 73,000+ articles, they're all slick. Okay, now that the disclaimer is over with, I'll head into the *gasp* Paradox. Number one, if Buzz Buzz died alerting Ness, and Ness defeated Giygas, is Buzzy still dead? After all, Giygas died in the Cave of the Past. Part two: If Buzz Buzz comes to the past from the future, and dies in the past, how did he survive into the future to do so?
One of the most oft-used theories, however, is something completely different. Is he what he says he is? After all, the only things he really mentions to back up the visit is "The Apple of Enlightenment said so." The Apple of Enlightenment could have easily been made up, and the battle between the Starman Jr. and Ness and co. could have easily been staged. So, following on the theory that he's Giygas is rather easy. Giygas knows Ness and his three future friends have enough power to overthrow him in ten years. So he sends them off on a wild goose chase. However, Ness, Paula, Jeff, and Poo prove too powerful due to Pokey's interference, and he loses. Valid theory when ya thing about it...
