Programming and EarthBound
Hello EB fans, It is I the Magic Cake man. My subject matter for this article just so happens to be about programming and earthbound. If you're not a harcore EB fan, and you don't know how to program, I suggest you stop reading right now. Well maybe not.
Anyhow, I was curious about how many people (fellow programmers) out there have always wanted to know how EB was made. I don't just mean MADE I mean, what makes it tick? What kind of program skeleton could give it SO MUCH life that it has many devoted fans here in the US, even though it's more than a year old?
Well, I've been devoting my free time thoughts to trying to figure this out. I still can't, no matter what! The point of what I'm saying is: If you have any ideas or theories as to how the Battle System, the sprites, or anything else that makes EB work, please E-mail me and we'll talk. I myself have a Qbasic battle system (VERY basic, but compiled) that if anyone would like to try they can if they e-mail me.
