Will It Be the Same...?
As the countdown for Mother 3 to be released slowly goes down, I have began to think, Will it be the same as Mother 2/Earthbound. I'm probably not the only one to think this hopefully, but I still want to say something.
Ever since I was a young lad of about eight I have played earthbound, and I loved it so. I remember fighting the Titanic Ant and getting my butt wooped the first few times I fought him. I remember falling in love with all the character, every single one of them, and always laughing at the corny jokes throught the game, and always full of suspense every time I'd hear the mysterious tune to spook you...(the sound like when the Dept. Store Spook calls Ness to the top floor). I've played through Earthbound atleast six times and beat it all six, and it never gets boring.
All of this makes me start to think, will Mother 3 be the same. I mean of course I don't expect it to be the same as Mother 2, but will it have character just as beloved as crazy Mr. Carpainter, trying to rule the world with the color blue, or Everdred, the greatest burglar around. Also, who can forget defeating the Kraken and laughing when the captain said that he helped by throwing his slpper at the beast. I have grown to love those characters, and I hope that there are just as lovable characters in Mother 3.
Now as for main characters, I'm just not sure if Mother 3 will be able to surpass those of Ness (a psychic prodigy), Paula (a cute little telopathic girl), Jeff (a genius who still sometimes wets the bed), and Poo (the prince of a far off land on a floating cloud). I don't at all doubt that the characters will be great in Mother 3, but will they be as great as those of Mother 2/Earthbound. That brings us to boss battles. Many of the bosses throughout the game of Mother 2 are both hard, and very memoriable. Will they be able to let us love being beaten over and over by a boss and then feeling so proud when we finally beat them, and will they have such a great final boss such as Giygas.
As I end this article I want you all to think, will Mother 3 be as good as Earthbound/Mother 2. Leaving you full of supense, and loving great, beloved characters. Taking you to faraway places that a person may actually think to exist somewhere in the world. I am praying that Mother 3 will be just as good as Mother 2, if not better. (cuz i know it will be realesed in America...or are at least hoping greatly).
