Super Buddha - The Man, The Legend
While we're all familiar with the work that Super Buddha puts into the occasional revitalization of Starmen.Net, very few know his story outside of his website based efforts. He can often be found relaxing on the beaches of Spain while disguised as regular old Buddha, or occasionally dominating (gracefully) other players at Street Fighter in some hole in the wall arcade. He prefers to play as Dhalsim, but will switch to Sakura if playing Third Strike. Super Buddha is a man of many recreational interests, but never uses his powers for personal gain.. this is why you won't see him in the top brackets of the fighting game scene.
Of course, it can't always be fun and games. The Annual Gift Man From the Moon calls upon Super Buddha every year on September 1st so that they can spend the entire month sparring in order to strengthen Gift Man's body for his strenuous holiday journey. Despite the fact that this prolonged battle takes place entirely in the vacuum of space, they somehow fight at ONE HUNDRED TIMES Earth's gravity, which helps the overall agility and speed of The Annual Gift Man From the Moon. You'd better reconsider your options if you honestly believe that you can escape from his flesh-eating virii.
On one occasion, Super Buddha has combined his powers with those of The Annual Gift Man From the Moon and Ruby the Wonder Corgi in order to summon their giant robot, Super Mega Cross Bot 2000. They named and designed the Cross Bot in order to do away with the thinly veiled religious symbolism associated with many giant mecha, instead choosing to be extremely upfront with it. Together, they used Cross Bot to save the Earth from Ultra-Walken by beating him in a pan-galactic dance off. It seems like Cross Bot was the TRUE weapon of choice.
Super Buddha: Web 2.0 Resynergizer, avid gamer, sparring buddy, and sentai hero.
