Random Thoughts and Meanderings
called my article this because there are several things that I address. Hence the title "Random Thoughts & Meandering's" I warn you that I am not the worlds best writer, but I try my hardest. ;D But anyways, after reading some other article that shall remain nameless, I figured to myself, why don't I write an article myself. Well I did just that. And let me tell you that writing an article at 2 AM, is no easy task. Mainly because of the fact that I have been sleep deprived and your mind starts playing tricks on you after so long without sleep. But that in itslef is another story. =D
Now on to my point(s). First is #EarthBound. I want to know why everyone makes such a big frikkin deal about it. Now don't get me wrong, I love #EarthBound, and I like spending countless hours chatting with all of the friends I have made here over the years. But I have always failed to see why everyone likes to whine about it so much. I mean really, it IS just a chat room. So many people complain about the rules, and how they hate them. Well heres an idea, if you hate the rules so much, don't go in. It is THAT simple. I don't know why so many people obsess about it. Some people have complained about not being able to get in to the channel because they are banned. Well, duh. That's the point of being banned. If you are banned, accept it and get on with your life. Don't obsess over it. It isn't healthy.
Next is the site itself. Why have I heard so many times that SM.net is "dying?" I don't think it is dying. Many people say it is dying because there aren't that many updates, well I hate to tell you but if there is nothing to update with, we can't update. And we can't all update as much as we/you would like. We try our hardest, but give all of us staff members a break, we DO have real lives outside the site you know.
Now on to people. I have noticed a lot of people have been extremely rude and extremely mean. I mean I don't get it. Try and get a long with one another. I know that at times tempers can flare, and comments can be exchanged that you don't mean. But some people seem to hold harsh grudges for reasons that are beyond me. I have noticed that as of lately some people seem to be thriving on hate. Case in point is Guruzeth. It is beyond me a to why he hates so many people. I myself have come upon the hatred guru harbors against certain people. An example would be, once in #EarthBound, guru said I was "perverted" because I thought the book "Brave New World" by Aldeous Huxley was a good book. Now is it just me or is that just not called for? Now sure maybe that's small and nothing to get made over. But that is just one person. I have seen SO MANY people are just fueled with hatred. And I can't understand it. Now I know that not everyone, can like every single person at this site. Sure we all like different people, but that doesn't mean that we can't at least try and be civil about it. I try as hard as I can to be as civil as possible. Maybe I am just waisting my time and my breath, but for the love of Pete try and bring the hatred down a notch huh?
And now for the last part of my article. Although this was just done by someone else in their article, I to would like to address some people, no matter how clichîZt may be. ^_^

reidman: Well, although I COULD thank you for starting this whole crazy thing we call starmen.net, I won't because that has been so many times. Rather I want to thank you on a more personal note. You have set a good example for me over the entire time I have been here. Although you may have not intended to directly teach me this lesson, you have helped me get a little closer with God, and as well taught me to be a better person. I just wanted to say thanks.
Frodis: Over a short amount of time you became a very good friend, and you are probably one of the people I talk to the most. Thanks for being a really good friend over the past few months. I appreciate it.
`Frieza: You've been a good friend ever since I first met you way back on Undernet. Thanks for begin around when I needed you, and for teaching me a lot of stuff that I never knew before.
Jeb2: Well even though we have had some tough times, and some even tougher times, I still consider you a friend, and I will always be around to lend a hand.
Mars: You still scare me, I am deathly afraid of you burning a hole in my head with your glasses. Heh heh heh. I am just kidding. For all serious purposes, you have always been pretty cool, and I think you took a good and admirable approach at Zoiff.
mr PSI: I can't thank you enough for when you helped me out with the first SM.net Virtual Photo Album. I was very happy to find that you had taken interest in my project and that you were willing to lend me a hand.
Saboten: Although a lot of people don't like you for some odd and unexplained reason. At any rate I don't give a crap what everyone else says, you were always a nice guy, and a good Op. I still think your cool.
Striker164: Well the one thing I have to say to you is, you da man yo! =D I have always thought you were a cool guy and I appreciate you always being nice to me. Thanks a bunch, hope to see you around more!
Svbman: You have always been a good friend to me, and I appreciate it.
Kame: Probably one of the few people that actually listen, AND pay attention to me when I rant! =D Well at any rate thanks. I appreciate it and thanks for bein a true friend.
Falcon24: I have always thought you were a pretty cool guy. Sorry for getting in to it with you the other day, but for all it's worth I consider you a friend. Thanks for sticking around and not giving up like so many others have.
Shrooom: Yes, with 3 O's and not 2. I know! But you have always been a cool guy and I appreciate it. As of recently you are the person I talk with most frequently on IRC late at night. It's nice to have someone to talk to while everyone else is asleep! Thanks again!
Guruzeth: I have specifically left you in the last spot because you are one of the few people that make me truly angry. I so do not like the attitude that you take about everything. Contrary to your ego, you are not better than everyone else. Because I can assure you that is the attitude that you put off. I know that I speak for MANY people when I say, take all of your comments and shove em. I have always been pretty mute about what I say to you, but after your little article I don't really care. Don't act like you were ever some sort of "god" to #EarthBound, because perhaps the only thing you did (And it is what you were best at) Is threatening people that didn't go along with what you wanted them to do, or threaten people that had different ideas than you. Sorry to disappoint, this is not a world like in 1984, you can't control everyone, or their actions. You can deny doing this all you want, but it makes no difference because that is the aura that you put off. Do everyone a favor and keep quiet, that is as nicely as I can put it. Don't misread this paragraph to you as to be insults, because that is the farthest thing I have in mind. It is to simply to say to you what so many want to say, but don't for one reason or another. I just want you to know that I detest many of the things you have said about other members of this community, and no, I am not going to mention them because belive it or not I am not like that. What you say being the big private walls of #tomato can stay there. I may be a lot of things, but one thing that I am not, is a fink. The last thing I have to say to you is lay off of the management of #EarthBound. I think it is doing quite fine, for the first time in a while the general atmosphere has seemed to have lightened. And I think everything is going fine. Just because you have some bizarre hatred of vendetta against `Frieza, you don't have to put down the accomplishments he has made with #EarthBound. To think that in the beginning I actually respected you. But as time went on I found out that you are just as venemous as you claim others are. Say what you like about me, because quite frankly I do not give a rip.

Well folks, that's the end of my "little" article. I hope you enjoyed/hated reading it. I have spent a while composing this so that it sounds near the way it sounded in my head. I may not be the best author in the world, but I am one of the most long winded. ^_^
