Lack of Articles
Lack of articles� A new creative plague of sorts� But why? Everyone loves Pappycat, but for some reason, we just aren't submitting the articles like back in the day. I was encouraged to write this after seeing that no articles were received after the 5 day trip to the land of the Maple Leaf� Or Canada� In this article, I will put out a few reasons for the lack of great editorial writings.
Well, to start it off, there is a lot going down in the community lately. The Mother/Earthbound/Mother 3 Box Art/Ad campaign just got through, and within a week or so of the ending of that, the NP Siege III is starting up. With all this artistic inspiration happening going on, you'd think that a few articles would come out of it? NOPE! Between the Photoshop and the Scrabble on Playsite, people just didn't have the time, or are being lazy.
With the announcement of the remakes of Mother/Mother 2, and the probability that Mother 3 will be produced and put on the market, you would think that that would also spark the creative juices. Nope =(' This makes Pappy cry, maybe� I think that with all of the excitement with the news, people just spent all their time on the forums for that week or so hoping that something new would pop up. So that, plus some more of that darn online Scrabble, means no time to write.
We even had a couple of new poems/song updates. Why those but no articles? I think that I know, but then again, I'm probably wrong, and I can't spell.. But the latter half doesn't matter. With all this great news and inspiring art, people praise them with songs of joy and more inspiration with poetry. That's why.
I personally can only draw, a little paint, but when it comes to a pen, NOPE. I'm not that great of a writer, so why am I writing now...? I think I'll stop now so I don't make a fool of myself... Too late, huh?
