What happened as Lucas Pulled the Needle
The main events o MOTHER 3 is when Lucas and the Masked Man fight off to get the majority of the Seven Needles. According to the Magysyies, the one who pulls the most needles using PK Love, can awake the Dragon and make him good or evil, all according to the heart of the puller.
As many of you are aware (If you are not, spoilers come up so stop reading) Lucas ends up pulling the majority of the Needles, so he can make the Dragons heart, Lucas was the Good guy, so wouldn't he make the Dragon go in peace?
Well this theory explains that the answer to that is a no
Lucas' original intent was to pull most of the needles, and make the Dragon good, and restore the world. Why would you not? After all, Claus was brainwashed and only did evil because of Porky. Lucas went through a lot, and it gave him a different view of the world. Especially after Leader's Speech, about how the world lied in the Human's hands and they blew it, now they are starting again, and are continuing to destroy the world. It has become obvious to Lucas that this isn't right, and the Humans are going to make a fool of the world like they did before. And he knew the world was full of hatred, and not so much peace. The Nowhere Islands didn't become so good of a place. Nobody was ever arrested in Tazmilly (but one guy) until technology took over.
The world was scared, and not even the Dragon could fix it. After Claus committed suicide, Lucas realized that the world was too bad to countiue, and he grew dark and detached. The playful cheerful boy we once knew has became strong and serious. When Lucas pulled the final needle, his intent was to end the scared world, which was going to destroy itself if not now. Lucas went through a lot, and realized how wrong the world was, so he ended the sad story there, and destroyed the world.
It was also the death of his dearest brother and mother that made him dark, he went through a lot, lost his brother, met face to face with death/danger, got beat-up, and dedicated a big portion of his life, for what? The world not to thank him and just blow up the place? That's not how Lucas wanted it, he knew the world owed him, but he would never get it, the world would just go on, and end itself thanks the humans.
