The Big News
Greetings. It appears I missed the last update. Oh well. There has been some big news lately, and I doubt I have to tell you what it is. Mother 1 and 2 will be released on the GBA, and apparently Mother 3 is in the works. This has the entire community in an uproar of excitement, and I feel obligated to write something about this.
Personally, this announcement does not effect me. I didn’t really like Mother and I already have Mother 2 for my trusty Super Nintendo. Of course there is Mother 3 as well, but I could live without it (I am going to get so much hate mail for that). Keep in mind that I only discovered this series a year ago. Regardless of my feelings, this is big for the site. This will inevitably cause a huge influx of new members. Well, visitors at least. We will have to wait and see if that turns out to be positive or negative.
My mind is at a blank right now. So, I will switch subjects. Now for some thoughts. Am I the only one who thinks it was a tad overkill for three articles to be written about the “Flaws of Earthbound” by Stepinitch/stepinitch? Am I the only one who wants to see an Anthadd/Zeth debate? Am I the only one who wants that stainless steel automobile that Ford made? Am I the only one who likes that Nintendo cereal from the 80’s? Hopefully not.
Perhaps I should get back to the topic. My bobbly head Yankee agrees with me, so democracy rules. I am a little disappointed that Mother 3 will not be on the Cube. For some reason, I rarely finish games on any handheld system. A strange little habit that I have noticed. Maybe I should start going on vacations so I can actually finish the numerous games that I have begun and left unfinished. The picture of Miyamoto on my wall is informing me that I merely avoided the topic at hand, and am just using senseless filler to make this article longer. I’m not sure wether I should be ashamed of myself for doing such a thing, or worried since a picture of a small Japanese man is communicating with me.
I suppose it is about time I brought this to a close. The Mother/GBA news will make a definite impact on the site. That in itself is enough to warrant excitement. It will be interesting to see how things change around here. And even if the site was to go up in flames of glory, at least you have two great games and one potentially great one to play on your trusty little GBA. Goodnight, and remember, Miyamoto loves you.
